Since 2010, Nour has enabled 29 underprivileged children from families living in isolated villages in Mauritania to no longer work in the fields in full sun. Thanks to the opening of the Nour boarding school, their living conditions have changed: they can now drink drinking water, eat balanced meals, benefit from medical care, and above all have basic and early learning courses ensuring their independence and autonomy for their future.
These children are privileged except that they are not the only ones who need food and emotional security. Other children from these same isolated rural areas also need support and be welcomed in our boarding school, but we do not have a large enough reception capacity.
This is why it is urgent to add an additional floor to the Nour boarding school to be able to accommodate them and thus change the lives and future of 22 additional children, also from disadvantaged families and / or orphans who regularly request accommodation and schooling.
The operation "build a floor at the Nour boarding school" has already been launched and we have already raised more than € 10,000 thanks to the generosity of donors like you, and the generous donation from the David Hadida Foundation , partner of this great project!
